  • Project: Peabody Municipal Light Plant Awarded Energy Efficient Street Lighting Grant

LED STREETLIGHTS

Peabody Municipal Light Plant (PMLP) has received a grant up to $771,283 under the State Department of Energy Resources’ (DOER) LED Street Lighting Accelerator Program to help pay for the cost of new energy efficient LED street light fixtures, long-life photo-electric controllers and wireless controllers for the fixtures. The Baker-Polito Administration has announced a total of $11.4 million in grant funds are being awarded to municipal light plants in more than 30 communities.
